Absentee Voting

If you are unable to vote in person on election day, you have the option participate through absentee voting.

Absentee Voting Periods:

Primary Election: June 28-August 12, 2024

General Election: September 20 - November 4, 2024

An absentee voter application must be filled out and returned to the Becker County Auditor-Treasurer's Office, 915 Lake Ave. Detroit Lakes MN 56501.

You MUST be registered to vote to vote. If you are not registered to vote and would like to vote absentee, complete the Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request Federal Post Card Application.

Once you have voted absentee, you can determine the status of your ballot on the Secretary of State's website.
